Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
