Starting XI

The goalkeeper Was rarely tested required in the first half until forced to intervene by an opponent's bent shot. One well-timed sliding tackle on Qazim Laci highlighted excellent game intelligence. Six out of ten

Jude Bellingham Played in a forward spot down the right and contributed with the hard yards. Showed moments of class and scuffed an effort over. Withdrawn in the closing stages by a teammate, a fellow player, after being booked. 7/10

The winger Had England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate holding position, it fell to him to provide width out wide although his balls into the box were inconsistent. Substituted with 15 to go. Six

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring two more strikes for his country. The first a typical opportunist's goal while the second an excellent header having drifted away off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to get into the game out wide. Had a decent opportunity following a pass from a teammate however Strakosha kept it out. Rashford had a greater an impact after coming on. 5
