Passionate fans of the pop star are demanding that a individual who jumped a fence and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes clips of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of supporters had assembled in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore venue, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two distinct characters.

The show itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, earning two for outstanding attire and set decoration.
